I Miss the Way You Loved Your Purses

By Will Strohl on 12/6/2015

Dear Nala:

I'm going through some of your photos right now (yet again), and I can't tell you how much I miss all of the little things.  Especially the things that gave you pleasure, like your purses...

I love how you thoroughly enjoyed your purses.  Despite being a very sensible person, always maintaining a budget, you loved your purses and didn't always enforce your frugal nature when getting them.  The bigger, the better too.  You loved to stuff as much as you could into them and was always more than happy to tuck away my contact solution or sun glasses.

I love the way you carried them. I love the way you always ensured that they were safely stowed when we were out and about.  I love how you would arbitrarily switch purses every month or so.  I loved how the previous purse would still have a multitude of receipts and other trash items, despite you always giving me a hard time about keeping my own receipts.

I love holding your purse for you whenever you needed it.  You're the first woman I ever wanted to do that for.  Before you, I literally would refuse such a request or opportunity.  I didn't care what people thought of me when I did it for you.  I just cared that I was able to do something for you.

I love you so much honey.  I'd give anything to hold your purse for you again.

Wherever you are, I hope you still have things like this to make you happy.

Sincerely,

Your Simba, Always
